Steve Rouse has worked in training and organisational development for almost twenty years, initially in Central Government and more recently as a freelance consultant with private, public and third sector clients. Steve is a skilled facilitator and learning designer who has designed and delivered training to clients as diverse as the House of Commons, Royal Bank of Scotland and Stockport CVS.
Steve's learning design work has lately focused on blended solutions, such as appraisal training for RWE npower, absence management for First TransPennine Express and a comprehensive management development programme for the House of Commons. Steve has also designed web-based learning platforms to support organisational development, incorporating bite-sized learning, capability assessment and knowledge management. Third sector work includes workshops on creativity and feedback with Commonword Ltd and the FWWCP, as well as visioning, strategic planning and organisational development work for the Austistic Society Greater Manchester Area and Stockport CVS. Steve is a past Secretary of Commonword Ltd and a founder member of the TrainerBase Professional Standards Committee.
