Leadership and management funding for social enterprises

Social enterprises in the North West can apply for funding of up to £1,000 from the Leadership and Management Advisory Service.
The funding is for leadership and management training and is offered on a 50 per cent match-funded basis. The training can include accredited courses, informal training, or coaching or mentoring.
To be eligible, businesses must employ between two and 249 employees and have the potential to increase turnover and/or the number of employees over the next three years.
For businesses with fewer than 10 employees, the beneficiary must be the key decision-maker in the business and the grant will support leadership and management development to help improve their skills allowing them to fully engage and make use of their workforce.
For businesses employing 11 to 249 people, the beneficiary can be one of the senior management team reporting to the key decision-maker.
