Managing Through Change
This course is aimed at staff facing organisational change where it impacts on their role, their management and/or their beneficiaries.
The voluntary and community sector is undergoing big changes, all of which can be a very stressful and worrying time for the staff most affected. This one day course will equip participants with the skills and knowledge to manage and adapt during their organisational change. Topics covered include:
- What is change?
- Reactions and barriers to change
- The impact of change - exploring the realities
- Our role within change
- Negative and positive responses
- The importance of communication
- Managing ourselves and others
The course will be delivered by Cathy Shimmin (Senior Training Manager - Directory for Social Change)
