Market Place project chooses HR provider

The GMVSS Market Place project, based at GMCVO, has selected Roots Human Resources CIC as its preferred supplier for human resources services. Market Place is a buying group to help local voluntary sector organisations save money on goods and services. It currently has 63 members.
Roots HR is the UK’s first and only social enterprise in the UK providing HR consultancy services and specialising in working with small and medium-sized community and voluntary organisations and social enterprises. Roots HR was chosen for its ethics, approach and the range and quality of services provided. The Market Place project and Roots HR are currently working together on ideas to embed the partnership including an initial free half-day training event on basic HR for voluntary sector organisations in Greater Manchester on 24th May at the St Thomas Centre in Manchester.
The preferred insurance broker, Ladbrook, has recently streamlined its quotation procedures so, in the majority of cases, confirmed quotations can be given quickly. If your organisation has existing insurance, Ladbrook should be able to at least match your premium but more likely offer a more competitive price. All Ladbrook needs is a little information about your organisation, your insurance renewal date and your current insurance premium. Joining the Market Place is free and there is no obligation.
