Free trustee recruitment service launched

Charity Trustee Networks (CTN) has launched trusteefinder, a free online service for posting and researching trusteeship vacancies in the UK.
The site currently contains nearly 6,000 vacancies for trusteeship and management committee roles, which are either posted by CTN or drawn from do-it.org.uk, YouthNet’s national volunteering database.
Hosted within CTN’s website, vacancies can be found with a simple postcode search or by area of interest. In addition, members of CTN's free membership scheme trusteenet can also post vacancies to the service.
“We believe it is really important to provide a means of promoting board vacancies for free, as a service to the trustees that we support,” said Karen Heenan, chief executive of CTN.
“When developing trusteefinder, we were determined not to reinvent the wheel, so have worked in partnership to tailor an existing database with an excellent search facility to the needs of trustees.”
