New action pack for community facilities

A new tool to help organisations improve and maintain a community facility, is currently being developed by GMCVO’s Community Hubs team.
The Community Hubs Action Pack (CHAP) is aimed at facilities that are predominantly managed by volunteers. It will improve the sustainability of the facility by focusing discussions, stimulating greater use, wider engagement and more effective use of resources.
Twelve organisations and a focus group (including facility managers and infrastructure organisations) have influenced the pack.
Once funding has been secured, the draft pack will be developed to create an online toolkit and downloadable pack.
