Capital grants for resource centres

Local resource centres can apply for grants of up to £30,000 to make small scale improvements to their premises under a new round of the Capital Investment Programme run by Capacitybuilders.
Priority will be given to projects which have specific relevance to the challenges facing the sector during the recession.
The first round of 61 grant awards made under £2 million programme earlier this year, demonstrated how even relatively minor changes, such as enabling more flexible use of meeting space, can deliver benefits to frontline organisations – enabling them to better meet the needs of local communities impacted of the economic downturn.
The deadline for applications 24th December, but those received by 14th December have a better chance.
