About Community Hubs

A leaflet outlining our services can be downloaded below

Community Hubs is an initiative built on the legacy of 28 years of community technical aid, formerly provided by CTAC. Our experience shows that when groups are supported to improve their physical environment it encourages community activity, inclusion, regeneration and above all builds confidence.

We have a varied portfolio, which includes project development, community/neighbourhood consultation, identifying resources and supporting funding applications, project management (including construction contracts) business plans for community facilities and facility management support.

Community Hubs actively seeks funding to enable groups to access initial services free of charge;  is developing a menu of services linked to the GMVSS Directory … as well as providing tailored advice and consultancy support to community groups, social enterprises and regeneration partnerships in:
• Identifying neighbourhood/community need
• Developing community hubs
• Constructing or refurbishing community hubs
• Resourcing community hubs
• Managing community hubs
• Asset transfer

If your work or aspirations involve a ‘community hub’ (a place or space that supports community/neighbourhood activity) and you want some guidance, Community Hubs will:
• Have the experience, skills and/or tools to support you
• Want to develop new methods/products to support you
• Know another organisation that can help you
