New GMPTA Chair

On Friday 27th June, the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Authority (GMPTA) elected a new Chair, Trafford Conservative Councillor Matthew Colledge. Manchester Councillor Keith Whitmore, a Liberal Democrat, was appointed Vice Chair.

Cllr Colledge replaces Roger Jones, who lost his seat at the recent local elections. It is the first time in GMPTA's history that the Chairman has not been a Labour party member.
