Building Success – toolkit for capital projects

 A free, web-based self-assessment toolkit to review the development of capital projects is being developed by GMCVO’s Community Hubs team.

Building Success is aimed at voluntary and community sector groups and people involved in the development of community building and landscape projects. It provides ideas of what should be considered and when, and should help to reduce the risks associated with capital projects.

The toolkit is based on 10 critical success factors, central to capital projects.
Descriptions of the success factors, case studies and tips and links will be included along with a ‘ratings form’ for project members to rate their progress against the 10 factors. A report will indicate which factors need attention.
The website will be available in January 2009.
