TAG report underlines the importance of bus passes for older people

A report by the Transport Action Group (TAG) underlines the importance of concessionary travel to older people in Manchester. 

Benefits are secured not only directly to users.  The access, connections, independence and freedom provided by concessionary travel reduces the need for and dependence on other often costly services, and supports local and national priorities around 'prevention not cure', public health, wellbeing and sustainability.
