GMCVO, as part of the Health and Social Care Engagement project, are holding an event to bring together all VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) organisations that work with Children, Young People and Families in Greater Manchester. This event will also be of interest to those wanting to find out more about what is going on in this area of work at the moment.
The event will update you on the current Greater Manchester and National policy picture for work with Children and Young People. You’ll be able to find out more about other organisations working across Greater Manchester and we’ll map out what the VCSE contribution to this work looks like. There will be a chance to set out some priorities for the plans around working with Children and Young People in Greater Manchester and speak to the individuals who represent the GM VCSE sector on various GM boards related to Children and Young People. You will also be able to explore some areas of VCSE contribution in more detail as part of a workshop session. A full agenda for the event will be available soon.
We hope that this event will be a catalyst for establishing more regular meetings between VCSE organisations working with or interested in the Children and Young People’s agenda in Greater Manchester.
Please also share this information with any other contacts and colleagues that might be interested in coming along.
To book your place, please click on the Register Now tab on this screen.
Please note, as this event is likely to be very popular, only one delegate place can be offered to each VCSE organisation in order to ensure that as many organisations can attend as possible from across GM. Multiple registrations from the same organisation will be rejected.
