Following the launch of the GM BAME social enterprise network in February 2020, we now have over 100 BAME led social enterprises who are part of the network.
We have supported our members through training and development opportunities, provision of relevant information including funding through eBulletins, mentoring and monthly network meetings which provide a space to meet and chat with other social entrepreneurs. We have also been piloting hubs in Manchester, Rochdale and Trafford.
Below is a case study video with Mark Nesbitt from Tuft-C who leads our Trafford hub and Sameeia from Empower Consultants. They talk about the Trafford hub and how Sameeia has benefitted from the support the network provides through the hub.
