I first came across Proper Good after I had a 121 phone call with Simone (Proper Good Lead). I had also seen things about Proper Good on social media and attended a launch event at Stockport Homes.

Through attending & delivering sessions with Proper Good, I feel part of something - no longer isolated as a self-employed small business person! I feel like I have colleagues as such now that I have met so many people in the same position as me. We can collaborate on projects which is amazing.
The Indie Bookkeeping Club has been super helpful and a game changer for me as I now understand more about the aspects of bookkeeping and running business finances. I have the confidence to actually do the work myself now and feel OK with it. At the Indie Bookkeeping club eventually something clicked and I could understand the basic elements of book keeping and cashflow forecasting etc.
Proper Good support has also helped me feel more conifdent about what I can offer. I am feeling different and OK with things outside of my comfort zone since the Conference - this was a setting, audience and workshop delivery I was not familiar with. But since delivering my workshop there, it has boosted my confidence and I feel Ok about branching out. It was very daunting but I did it, Thank you!
The range of Proper Good support sessions have definitely made me more organised with my admin, records and finances. I set time aside now to do this work and am on top of it with the systems I have put in place.
For the future, The Proper Good conference was amazing so now I’d like to see it keep the momentum going and build on actual connections between SE & private sector.
