Recent local research identified the need to establish high quality business support to Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) social businesses across Greater Manchester. In order to do this, we are establishing the Greater Manchester BAME Social Enterprise Network.
This network seeks to build on assets within communities, identify shared goals and work together to enable BAME-led social enterprises to thrive.
At this event, we will present findings from the research into barriers facing BAME social entrepreneurs. It is also an opportunity to shape how the network should be run and what will add value to those who join the network.
We welcome all budding and current BAME social entrepreneurs. Any BAME individual or BAME-led organisation is also welcome if you wish to know more about social investment and/or social enterprise.
