GMCVO, with funding from GMCA, have launched a grants programme to support the implementation of trauma responsive approaches in Greater Manchester.
The work funded by this grants programme, will be part of the development of a Greater Manchester Trauma Responsive and Adverse Childhood Experience Framework. The aim being to create a coordinated approach to reduce individual and community exposure to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and trauma.
We are holding an online briefing event to give potential applicants information about the broader context of the grants, the criteria and decision making process and give opportunity for attendees to ask any questions..
Grants of up to £15,000 are available for at least five GM VCSE organisations (£75,000 total pot) who:
1. Have an income of over £30,000 in their most recent full financial year.
2. Already have a trauma informed and responsive culture embedded within the way they deliver services.
3. Are interested in providing a leadership role, in one or more geographical areas of Greater Manchester, in the development of the framework and trauma responsive approaches within the wider VCSE Sector.
