This workshop will look at how you can meet the challenge of taking an equalities approach to place-based work. We will draw from learning from the Ambition for Ageing programme, including our published resources; A Spatial Approach to working with marginalised communities, A Toolkit for Inclusion in Practice and Making Age-Friendly Neighbourhoods Inclusive.
The workshop is designed for anyone working to make neighbourhoods more age-friendly, including project managers, community development workers, or and neighbourhood volunteers.
During the workshops, there will be an opportunity to apply this learning in practice, hear from a relevant speaker, share your ideas with other practitioners, and to reflect on applying the learning to your own area.
This workshop is part of Ambition for Ageing’s Age-Friendly Places in Practice workshops series. You can sign up to attend just one workshop, or all three. Please follow the links below to register for the other workshops.
