A post-election briefing for leaders of voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations in Greater Manchester.
Following the election of a Labour government on 4th July after 14 years of Conservative leadership, this session will help VCFSE organisations understand the impact of a change in government and what this means for a more inclusive economy.
Graham Whitam, CEO at Resolve Poverty (formerly GM Poverty Action) will talk about the potential impact on people within our communities and John Hannen, CEO at GMCVO will focus on the new governments plans for growth and how these will affect the social economy in Greater Manchester. The session will be chaired by Helen Clayton, Business Development Manager at Bolton CVS who will reflect on what Graham and John's insights might mean for Greater Manchester localities.
There will also be opportunity to ask questions and share your views.
This briefing is delivered on behalf of the Inclusive Economy working group of the GM VCFSE Leadership group, working towards the commitments of the GM VCSE Accord.
