Tesco Community Grants is open for applications from community groups and schools with projects which support children and families and food poverty.

Grants of up to £500 to enable peer support, mutual aid or self-help groups to connect remotely, prepare to move their activities to face-to-face, or make their group more sustainable. The peer support, mutual aid or self-help group must benefit people or communities who live with mental ill-health, trauma and distress. Deadline 31st May.

16 awards up to £2,500 for groups to explore what community means to you; how you see communities building cohesion, or hope they will do; and how you can represent that through creative or performing art. Deadline 30th September

Grants between £500-£25,000 available for small women's groups and organisations to support the development of innovative ways of empowering women in their local area, and to build organisations' capacity. Deadline 28th May.

Grants of up to £1,000 are available for sports clubs and organisations in England to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for the benefit of disadvantaged children under 21 years old. No deadline.

Awards of £2,021 for GM based charities, CIOs, constituted community groups or other recognised not-for-profit organisations,with an annual income of less than £75,000. Deadline 3rd September.

Grants of up to £5,000 for local groups that want to raise awareness of the issues of illegal money lending in their community. Deadline 30th June

Grants of between £20,000 and £60,000 per year, for up to three years, are available  for small charitable organisations working at a grassroots level, targeting places that are economically marginalised and affected by poverty. No deadline.

Grants of up to £5,000 for innovative digital inclusion projects that help residents of all ages – and the wider community – to get online and safely and confidently use the internet as an everyday tool. Deadline 26th May.
