Developing the social enterprise ecosystem in Greater Manchester

The Greater Manchester Equality Alliance (GM=EqAl) and GMCVO are hosting a series of engagement sessions to support the refresh of the Greater Manchester Strategy with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA), Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) and the GM Health and Social Care Partnership.

The focus is on how Greater Manchester can be effective in tackling inequality and the sessions are a chance to drive home the Black Lives Matter message directly to policy makers and to try to ensure the needs of communities who experience racial inequality are paramount in the new five-year plan.

There are five sessions left:

• Work, skills and economy, Monday 12th July, 4:00pm to 5:30pm
• Children and young people, Tuesday 13th July, 10:00am to 11:30am
• Health and social care, Friday 16th July, 10:00am to 11:30am *NEARLY FULL*
• Transport, Friday 16th July, 4:00pm to 5:30pm
• Police, crime, fire and criminal justice, Friday 23rd July, 3:30pm to 5:00pm
