Dear GMCVO member/subscriber
Please see below two opportunities that we hope will be of interest:
Fully funded trainee mental health/wellbeing practitioner places available
GMCVO are looking for organisations who provide mental health support and have staff or want to recruit staff to become trainees in delivering Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Interventions within the VCSE sector.
If you would like your staff (existing or new) to be trained as a High Intensity Therapist or Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, then you may be able to apply to obtain funding for the trainee place and salary whilst training.
GMCVO will provide funding for the trainee salary which comes from Health Education England and Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership. The course payment is covered by the training provider. We will also provide support to the organisation in completing the relevant document and support throughout the trainees course.

Year 2 GM mental wellbeing small grants launched
GMCVO, with funding from Greater Manchester Health & Social Care Partnership, are delivering year 2 of a grants programme to support people from communities of identity or experience, based in Greater Manchester, that may struggle to achieve higher levels of mental wellbeing.
In this small grants round, GM VCSE organisations can apply for grants of £750 - £3000 to run activities that will support people from the specific communities.
We are holding an online briefing event on Wednesday 13th October 2021. This event will give potential applicants information about the broader context of the grants, the application process and give opportunity for attendees to ask any questions. Register to attend here.
