RESET Trafford Conference

Wed, 11 Sep 2019

10:00 - 16:00

RESET is a multi-layered, youth led event aimed at parents, carers and professionals in education, health, youth services and social care in Trafford and beyond.

Calm Connections is working in collaboration with VCAT and Make A Pathway to present the new and essential RESET Trafford Conference: Wednesday 11th September 2019 at the Football Hotel, Trafford. 10.00-16.00

1 in 10 young people are diagnosed with a mental health challenge. This has a significant impact on the young people, their families, education, health and local authorities. RESET provides the opportunity for parents, grandparents, carers and professionals working with young people to access vital support, resources and knowledge.

The conference features several inspirational young people talking about their lived experience, alongside several of the North West's innovative speakers from education, health, family support and social care.

Calm Connections will offer families and professionals an up to date awareness of local and national services and organisations, and provide opportunities to explore innovative solutions to supporting children and young people experiencing mental health challenges.

All updates can be found at, @calmcic (twitter) CalmConnectionsCIC (facebook) or email

There will also be a networking opportunity of over 30 local and national services and organisations, to celebrate the great work services offer and bring more shared awareness of what is currently available to young people and their families.

The marketplace of services is free for all visitors, supported by small workshops and an interactive exhibition, created by the voice of up to 100 young people in Trafford, with experience of mental health challenges.

The conference element, is by ticket only: Families £5.00, Professionals £25.00 (plus booking fees), includes lunch and all refreshments. Email with any dietry requirements
