14:00 - 16:30

Manchester

We at Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights UK are working create the first ever Ripples of Hope Festival in Greater Manchester, to take place in February 2021. The Festival is going to explore and celebrate how we can all take actions to build societies for all people - to make human rights reality in our community and across the world.

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights UK is developing the Festival content with the people of Greater Manchester, through a series of Gatherings: discussions, led by Jude Kelly, the Artistic Director of the Festival, in which people of every walk of life share their thoughts, experiences and ideas to make sure the Festival truly speaks to their lives, challenges and hopes. A fuller overview of the Festival and about the Gatherings is attached.

We would love you to come along and help us build the Festival with your thoughts and perspectives.

They are for everyone with a passion for improving our society and reality for all people, with an interest in human rights of any kind and in every field. You definitely don’t have to work for a specific human rights charity for this to apply to you!
We are looking to meet and hear from a diverse range of voices, people working in different disciplines and from different walks of life, because human rights affect all of us in our day to day – and because the Festival is for everyone.
