Stronger Things: Communities vs Crisis event by New Local will take place on 9, 10 & 11 March online in a fully virtual event. It will host over 1000 senior people from across the UK’s public sector, voluntary sector and beyond, to share their successes and challenges of empowering communities.

This past year has shown us what can be achieved when communities respond and community power is unleased, Stronger Things is for those who know that the solutions to our most pressing challenges can only be found in our communities.

The keynote speakers include some of the most radical thinkers and practitioners in our sector, including: Andy Burnham, Mayor of Greater Manchester, Sir Michael Marmot Professor of epidemiology at University College London; Prof. Donna Hall, OBE, Chair of New Local and Chair of Bolton NHS Foundation Trust; Danny Dorling Halford Mackinder professor of human geography at Oxford University; Ted Howard, US co-founder and President of The Democracy Collaborative, Ruth Ibegbuna, founder of ‘RECLAIM’ and Rekindle School and Danny Kruger MP, member of parliament for Devizes.

There will also be the opportunity to participate in three highly engaging and interactive different breakout sessions over the three days.
