Launch of Labour Business Discussion Paper 'Building a Purposeful Economy'

An event with Shadow Business Secretary Jonathan Reynolds MP launching Labour Business’s 'Building A Purposeful Economy' publication.

The 12,500 word Discussion Paper on Building a Purposeful Economy explores what the economy might look like under a Labour Government, and examines what levers are available to Labour in government to encourage a new and more sustainable business model. Its central argument is for business with a purpose in place of business as usual – for more businesses which look beyond short-term shareholder returns, toward a business agenda which places the well-being of people, society and the planet at its heart.
