The Barometer project, led by Nottingham Trent University in partnership with NCVO, has been set up to examine and explore the impact of Covid-19 on the sector in real-time and is specifically interested in looking at how the pandemic is impacting voluntary organisations' working practices and operations, their responses, learning and resilience.
The January report is now available and reflects data gathered between 30 November and 14 December. The report sets out the most recent insights from the study, as well as trends in the data from the different stages of the research. The barometer survey found that 80% of organisations felt that they were better prepared for the November lockdowns and firebreaks than they were for the same event in March.
The report includes data on:
Finances and operations
Workforce and volunteers
Impact of the second lockdown in England
The latest round of the survey is now open, please click here for more information and to take part.
The next Barometer report will focus on ‘The changing nature of volunteering during the pandemic’ and will be included in this newsletter when it is published.
