NHS England wants to support the involvement of people with a learning disability who are given the least chance to have their say. This is so that people:
- have their experiences listened to
- can be involved in improving healthcare
- can tell NHS England about the issues and challenges that make it harder for them to get the same quality of healthcare as everyone else
The Learning Disability Engagement Team is offering grant funding to voluntary and community groups to run projects that will help NHS England do this. There is £40,000 available in total, and applications of up to £10,000 can be made.
Deadline for applications: 17th February 2016.
