Environmental Volunteering Survey

Groundwork in Greater Manchester and the Environment Agency are researching the activities and support needs of ‘environmental’ community and voluntary groups with an interest in Greater Manchester’s greenspaces and public places.

Volunteers and organisations supporting volunteers are invited to take part in a survey, in particular groups who are active near to the River Irk (the Irk runs through Manchester, Oldham and Rochdale).

The information gathered will be used to understand how volunteers and voluntary organisations communicate and work with each other and where; and how this network could be developed further in order to better impact Greater Manchester’s green spaces.
