Since March, Tameside, Oldham and Glossop (TOG) Mind have been supporting organisations to provide mental health support to their employees which has helped improve staff wellbeing throughout lockdown and home working.
Their Connect 5 programme has been delivered to over 800 people across 126 organisations in Greater Manchester, including Action together, the Army Cadet Force, Bury Council, Citizen Advice Bureau, Home Start, the LGBT Foundation, Oldham council and the Men’s Room.
TOG Mind are now recruiting organisations who would like to become Connect 5 trainers to enable them to deliver the Connect 5 programme direct to their staff. Their train the trainer course is free to attend and we will provide you with all resources that you’ll need to get you started including support for face-to-face or online training. Trainers will also receive ongoing help and support from their partners at Big Life Group.
You can find out more about the training in the PDF attached below.
If you would like to train your staff to be confident in having wellbeing conversations and provide support to other members of staff, volunteers and service users you can contact the TOG Mind training team at firstname.lastname@example.org
