Funded places on Race Equality Change Agents Programme

The Greater Manchester Workforce Collaborative (part of GM Health and Social Care Partnership) have commissioned another two cohorts of the Race Equality Change Agents Programme (RECAP) through Northern Care Alliance.

The programme aims to create race equality champions and also provides participants with the tools and support to run a project in their organisation to create change for people from ethnic minorities in the workforce.

It is aimed at front line staff through to middle managers who are not EDI specialists from Public and VCSE sector organisations working in Greater Manchester. It is recommended that applicants are well supported by their line manager and also have a senior sponsor to get the most out of the input.

Up to 40 fully funded places per cohort are available over the next 18 months, with cohort 3 starting on the 13th January 2022. The programme will last around 12 months per cohort with participants expected to attend 75% of six learning days over the first six months and at least two coaching days in the second six months.

You can find out more about the programme on the Northern Care Alliance website here.

Applications can be made using the attached form, which should be sent to equality@pat.nhs.uk by Friday 3rd December.
