Funding Opportunity: Stockport Homes Community Fund

Stockport Homes are offering grants of up to £1,000 for projects and activities that benefit local areas of Stockport.

Eligible organisations must:

  • Be an unincorporated voluntary association (community group), Community Interest

  • Company (CIC) or a registered charity

  • Have turnover less than £150,000 in the previous financial year.

  • Have not received funding from the Community Fund in the last 12 months.

  • Apply with a new idea or project (ie not funded in the last 12 months) 

  • Have a bank account open in the name of the group.

  • Have a constitution or other set of written rules which include a “dissolution clause”

  • Have three people on a management committee acting as Chair, Treasurer and Secretary, none of whom are related by blood.

  • Have a set of annual accounts.

  • Provide feedback to Stockport Homes at the end of the project, including copies of receipts for goods and services bought with the funding.

Projects must:

  • Clearly demonstrate a benefit to Stockport Homes’ customers and/or communities.

  • Be completed within 12 months of the application.

  • Be based entirely in Stockport (priority will be given to projects in the following areas: Adswood; Bridgehall; Brinnington; Edgeley; Heaton Norris; Lancashire Hill; Mottram Street; Offerton)

  • Be applicable to one or more of the areas of benefit (visit the website for more information)

  • Only apply for funding for goods and services authorised (visit the website for more information)

  • Not have spent the money already that it is requesting funding for.
