Greater Manchester Police (GMP) hosts a network of local Independent Advisory Groups (IAGs) made up of community representatives to advise and challenge GMP on their policies, procedures and practices, acting as a 'critical friend'.
There is a current recruitment campaign for new members to join an IAG. By becoming Independent Advisors members are involved in improving service delivery to all Greater Manchester communities.
