Carers have played a vital role in helping to look after their loved ones during COVID-19, Healthwatch knows this has had a big impact on both carers and those they care for.
As the NHS and social care services continue to respond to the pandemic, it's really important that they understand how support is working for you and what could be improved as the they work hard to provide the best possible care. To this end, Healthwatch and the Care Quality Commission have launched the #BecauseWe All Care campaign which includes the following three elements.
Share your experience of care
Healthwatch listen and act on your feedback to help services improve. They are independent from NHS and social care services and anything you share with is completely confidential. So take a few moments to complete this short survey and tell them about your experience of support during the pandemic.
Encourage others to speak up
Ask your friends and family about the campaign by sharing their experiences of care on your social media. Don't forget to use the campaign hashtag #BecauseWeAllCare.
Run your own campaign
Do you work for a health or care organisation? Our #BecauseWeAllCare campaign toolkit enables you to run your own campaign to encourage carers to share feedback with you directly.
