The IGNITION project brings together 12 partners from across Greater Manchester who aim to create a greener, healthier and more climate resilient future for us all. The aim of the project is to research innovative ideas about how public parks and greenspaces can be uplifted across Greater Manchester (GM).
GM is made up of the 10 districts of Bolton, Bury, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Wigan which have, in total, over 450 public parks and greenspaces. These spaces should be free and accessible for all Greater Manchester citizens to keep everyone happy and healthy and to protect the natural environment.
If you live in Greater Manchester the IGNITION project would like you to share your thoughts with them by filling in this short survey to enable them to understand how you use your public parks and greenspaces and why they are important to you.
