The Proper Good Programme began development back in 2019 with GMCVO bringing together partners across 4 areas in Greater Manchester to develop 'Local Access' - a programme established by Access, the Foundation for Social Investment and Better Society Capital that aims to support the development of stronger, more resilient and sustainable social economies in disadvantaged places.
Proper Good is a test and learn programme offering free-to-access business support, networking, training, investment-readiness support and social investment to social enterprises and trading charities establish and grow.
It is hosted by GMCVO and delivered locally by Bolton CVS, Upturn (Oldham), Sector 3 (Stockport) and Wigan and Leigh Community Charity.
