The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) is made up of the ten Greater Manchester councils, the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, and the Mayor of Greater Manchester. It's vision is to make Greater Manchester one of the best places in the world to grow up, get on and grow old, and the Greater Manchester Strategy sets out a series of clear priorities for delivering this, in partnership with other public services, community and voluntary organisations, businesses and residents.
Great Place GM was a 3 year action research programme led by GMCA and part of the national Great Place scheme funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund and Arts Council England.
Great Place are running a series of lunchtime thematic webinars taking place over 4 weeks - the session titles are Culture, Health and Wellbeing, Creative Ageing, No One left out and Our Place.
