The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) have launched a ‘Your Voice, Your Decision’ campaign, the aim of which is to spread the message about the importance of Lasting Power of Attorney (LPAs) among low socio-economic groups, and those from a BAME background who have been disproportionately affected by Coronavirus.
The OPG recognises that many VCSE organisations have a direct relationship with the people who need LPAs the most and will therefore be more likely to have built up trust with these groups. They are therefore extending an invitation to VCSE organisation across GM to join their network of LPA partners and attend one of their video conference induction sessions on Microsoft Teams.
