Children and young people have been hit hard by the pandemic and lockdowns. Their mental and physical health, education and employment have suffered. To begin adjusting to the ‘new norm’ Youth Elements are delivering ‘Open Spaces’ this outdoor project is fully funded, workshops and activities include creative arts and physical movements, whilst adhering to government guidelines.
To ease into face-face work again, Youth Elements is looking to work with organisations to provide wrap-around support for children and young people across Greater Manchester. All sessions will run 2.5 hours, one junior group (6yrs – 11yrs) and other seniors (12yrs – 15yrs) depending on the organisation's requirements.
Improve the feelings of loneliness, worry and anxiety.
Ease the stress of the easing of COVID-19 lockdown.
Improves wellbeing, communication, and encourage positive engagement.
‘Open Spaces’ will run throughout May half term Tuesday 1st June - Mon 7th June.
