“Excluded from Mental Health Services: Characteristics and Barriers’ is a research project that is funded by the National Institute for Health Research”. The aims of this research are to find out about:
• Who does not get care when they are having a mental health crisis
• Why they wanted this care
• Why they did not get this care
• Any services that they do have contact with
The research team are looking for 3-4 public contributors with experience of not getting the care they needed when they had a mental health crisis and their 2-3 carers of people who have been excluded. No research experience is needed. Further information about this project can be found in the attachmentment below.
