Community Champions are looking to fund up to £4,000 for emerging local groups as well as charities, religious organisations and other not-for-profit organisations that have been affected by Covid. They will look especially favourably on small BAME-led organisations with a low annual turnover. To be eligible for Near Neighbours Community Covid Relief Grants your project should meet the following criteria: Support communities Be locally embedded Support the emerging needs of the community Keep people safe Keep people connected Keep people informed. The Grants Panel will be assessing applications and awarding grants weekly on a first-come, first-served basis, early applications are encouraged.
