The Greater Manchester Combined Authority has launched a Culture and Social Impact Fund open to non-profit and voluntary organisations operating at a GM level. The fund replaces the AGMA Section 48 programme. Note that GMCA recently secured £1.5m “Great Place” funding for a three year programme to build an evidence base of the cultural and creative assets of GM.
This will in future inform the criteria for the new Fund, but for the first two years decisions will be based on those used for the Section 48 scheme. Organisations intending to apply must declare this by Noon on October 19th, the closing date for applications is Midnight on November 3rd 2017, and funding will commence in April 2018.
