We are excited to share our latest publication, A Brief Guide to Social Enterprise.
The guide is designed to offer insight into what it means to be and grow as a business trading for a social purpose, as well as what is meant by the terms ‘Social Enterprise’ and ‘Social Investment’.
It shares what ‘Social Enterprise’ means (and does not mean), and the ways in which social businesses can source funding for themselves through Social Investment, including through our own range of investment funds. It includes real-life examples of some existing GMCVO investees and the different types of social investment available, as well as resources for Social Enterprises in Greater Manchester and beyond.
