New video highlights impact of social investment on youth arts charity, Gorse Hill Studios

A new video highlights the impact of social investment on youth arts charity, Gorse Hill Studios, who received £60,000 investment from our Access to Growth fund towards the redevelopment of their music studio.

The investment allowed them to develop their income streams as a social business, enabling them to grow their work supporting young people to build their self-esteem by taking an active role in their community, and to build pathways for their future.

The music studio at Gorse Hill Studios provides a vital point of access into music production for young people in Greater Manchester.

Caroline Gleaves, Chief Officer at Gorse Hill Studios, said,

“Social Investment meant we could meet our goal, and it meant that we are sat here today in an amazing space that we’re so excited to have, and to see what young people make of it”.

Watch below to find out how their work is making a difference, and why they think other organisations like themselves should consider social investment.
