Apply now for between £5,000 and £20,000 to improve local spaces and services along the 70-mile Transpennine Route Upgrade (TRU) as part of a new community fund, delivered by GMCVO.
With billions of pounds being invested to transform train travel between Manchester, Huddersfield, Leeds and York, TRU has launched the community fund to give back to the communities it is working in.
The medium grants round is now open with grants available between £5,000 and £20,000.
This round has a total size of £87,500 and we expect to fund between 4 and 6 community projects within 5 miles of the core TRU route and its key diversionary routes.
The deadline to apply for a medium grant is 12pm, Monday 30th September.
Small grants (£1,000 - £5,000) opened earlier this month.
