The GM One Workforce, One Model (OWOM) Programme at the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership (GMHSCP) is delivering a GM Integrated Workforce Planning Train the Trainer Course.
Workforce planning is vital to help us to better prepare for the future of health and social care services ensuring we have the right people, in the right place at the right time to support the GM population and local communities.
The way in which we perceive or deliver workforce planning can vary from each organisation, this programme strives to create a common language around workforce planning and integrate planning methods together into one model and one approach. The most important thing is that our workforce planning activities are focused on the GM population and local communities.
GMHSCP are looking for individuals from across GM who are interested in becoming workforce planning practitioners and champions to help spread and raise awareness of integrated workforce planning across Greater Manchester.
By attending a one-day, online session with colleagues from within your locality, you will be equipped with the tools and techniques to support and guide you in delivering your own workforce planning activities in your organisation and across the system sharing with your colleagues to plan better for your future workforce.
The goal is to spread the learning across Greater Manchester from Social Care Managers, to NHS Trust Service Leaders, Primary Care Managers, Clinicians, Voluntary & Community Sector colleagues and more.
The course will take place over a one-day session for each of the 10 GM localities to maximise connections for workforce planning.
Please see dates within the flyer attached which also includes more information about the programme.
Please click here to book your place on your locality session and course details will follow.
Places are limited and will be booked on a first come first served basis.
