'Shining a light on suicide across Greater Manchester'

Despite great leaps being made in bringing mental health out in the open and into the public consciousness, suicide remains hidden. Over 200 people a year take their own life in Greater Manchester and 1 in 5 people have had suicidal thoughts.

To help the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership understand what the region thinks about suicide and therefore how they can develop a campaign to 'shine a light on suicide across Greater Manchester, a short survey has been created which will inform the creation of a GM wide campaign that will encourage more people to talk about suicide and raise awareness and continue to reduce suicide rates across Greater Manchester.

It is understood that this is a difficult subject therefore there is no obligation to take part and all responses will be treated confidentially and anonymously. There is no obligation to answer all of the questions or to complete the survey in its entirety. Please follow this link to complete the survey. The closing date for the completion of the survey is Monday 11th March 2019.
