In order to support the work of The Cancer Champions initiative, VCSE organisations across Greater Manchester are being encouraged to sign up to support the work of cancer champions via the following link - https://www.vsnw.org.uk/cancer-champion-organisation. Such support is critical to show the huge number of community based cancer champions already in place as well as increasing their visibility to the GM Health and Social Care Partnership.
The scheme is also looking for suitable events at which they could promote cancer champion sign ups as well as receiving submissions of case studies of cancer champions or volunteer stories which could be shared to promote the Cancer Champion initiative.
