A charitable fund set up to support initiatives that benefit women and girls in the UK, Rosa offers financial aid to grassroots women's organisations across the UK with an income less than £100,000 per year,
The Woman to Woman scheme is financed by proceeds of the so called Tampon Tax, the government levy on women's sanitary products. Rosa is especially keen to support groups who work with disadvantaged communities or who operate in disadvantaged areas.
As well as grants, Rosa also provides additional support in the form of mentoring, training and networking opportunities.
In recognition of the centenary of the women's vote, this latest round of funding seeks to invest in initiatives that specifically boost women's representation, skills building and civic engagement.
