An upcoming 4-week programme will support Social Enterprises in Salford to create a business plan to help them move up to the next stage in their organisation’s development.
Using a dynamic combination of trainer input and participant interaction, attendees will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of some key aspects of managing a successful social enterprise in their particular local authority.
Over the programme, attendees will gain insight into some key aspects of running a social enterprise such as business planning, marketing, basic financial management, partnership working, appropriate legal structures.
Due to the interactive nature of the programme, exact content will be tailored to the needs of participant organisations and so the above is intended as an indication of likely topics to be covered.
Attendees will gain skills and knowledge which will be directly applicable to their social enterprise, together with contacts with other local social enterprises from the Salford area for ongoing support and encouragement. The business plan they create will be tailored to their own particular needs and circumstances.
