Update on the development of an Integrated Care System for GM

Work to establish an Integrated Care System (ICS)  is progessing in readiness to be in place by the revised date of 1st July 2022.

The new ICS will bring together all the different organisations which support peoples health and care, to work across three levels; neighbourhood, locality and Greater Manchester, with a single vision and strategy.

Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership have published a stakeholder briefing which provides an update on progress, including an overview of why things are changing, and how the new system fits together. You can read the briefing by downloading the document attached below.

The Big Conversation

You are invited to take part in a conversation about the future of health and care for Greater Manchester. Feedback collated from the survey will help to shape the future vision of how members of the new system will work together in partnership in order to improve everyone’s health and wellbeing.

The Big Conversation survey launched on Monday, 28th March, closes on Sunday 8th May and anyone who lives or works in the 10 Greater Manchester boroughs can take part.
